The New Look (QLD) Pty Ltd. collects personal information in the process of conducting business. That personal information may be obtained directly from you, via another contact in your organisation or through a third party who we believe has informed you that your details may be provided to us. We will only store your personal details if we believe they are relevant to conducting business with us. We do not normally obtain or store information that is deemed by the Privacy Act to be "Sensitive Information". We store personal information to ensure that we can maintain contact with you. This contact may be verbal, electronic or written. The reason for the contact may be to inform (e.g. advise that your products have been dispatched), request assistance or to maintain a relationship (e.g. to advise of new products, sales and offers).
WHEN DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?
The information we collect will only be that which is necessary for us to conduct our business and/or our relationship with you. The New Look (QLD) Pty Ltd enables customers to opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe function on every EDM. We utilise 3rd party software and use best endeavours to ensure all unsubscribe requests are attended to in a timely manner. On occasion some customers may have multiple email contact points, if this is the case please phone one of our friendly customer service team and we will unsubscribe your details from our email list. Future use of the site will be deemed acceptance of our terms and conditions and the reinstatement of the email onto our contact list. Multiple use: Information gathered by us in one instance may be used in another instance unless you expressly requested that we do not. However, we will only use the information we receive about you for the purpose of doing business with you or in connection with that purpose.
The New Look (QLD) Pty Ltd provides an opt out web service. At any stage customers can opt out of future contact via the contact us section or via the unsubscribe function on an EDM. Where practical, we will only collect information directly from you. If we collect it from another source (e.g. paid list), we will do all that is reasonably possible to follow the guidelines of the third party.
Your information is held either in paper-based records or in electronic form in our databases. We take precautions to ensure the security of that information. If your information is no longer needed, we will either delete it from our systems or de-identify it, so that it cannot be attributed to you personally.
Your personal information may be given to other organisations we use to assist us in the conduct of our business, including but not limited to couriers, affiliates, and our financial institutions. In the event of unlawful transactions, information collected may be passed on to law authorities.
POLICY AGAINST RECEIVING UNSOLICITED EMAIL MESSAGES
If you feel you’ve been sent unsolicited emails promoting our brand or website and would like to register a complaint, please email our customer service department (firstname.lastname@example.org). We will immediately investigate all allegations made related to unsolicited messages.
You can set preferences for how Google advertises to you using the Google Ad Preferences page, and if you want to you can opt out of interest-based advertising entirely by cookie settings or permanently using a browser plugin.
